The Onga Pantera series of pool pumps have been specifically designed to incorporate features that will provide reliable and efficient pump operation. They are designed with 5 levels of corrosion resitance, giving the motor more protection. This latest technolgy in wet end design, integrates a unique moulded end-shield cover and lip seal protecting the motor from water damage making this range ideal for in-ground or above ground pools.

5 levels of corrosion resistance: Standard industry practice to protect pool pump motors from water ingress is normally only on two levels, a mechanical seal and flinger shaft sleeve. With over 30 years experience selling into the pool industry, we know the more protection you give the motor, the better off you are and that’s why we build 5 levels of motor protection into the Pantera range pool pumps.

Shaft Sleeve: A nylon shaft sleeve incorporating a flinger, adds additional water ingress protection.

Plastic Yoke and Lip-Seal: The wet end design integrates a moulded endshield cover and lip seal, protecting the motor from water damage.

Mechanical Seal: A heavy-duty 3/4” 316 Stainless Steel mechanical seal (on all models) provides extended life and longer intervals between servicing.

Elevated motor foot: Keeps moisture well away from the motor.

Large hair and lint pot with see through lid: Easy to clean large hair and lint pot with a clear lid so you can check at a glance whether or not it is full.

Self-aligning barrel unions: Onga’s unique 5 degree self-aligning barrel unions make pipework connection a breeze (40mm & 50mm unions included).
